Imo it's to weak. Don't get me wrong, i don't need a high powered system, but it's seriously lacking power, which will limit what can be done with it.
It really wouldn't cost much to improve those specs, but that would mean they earn less on their consoles...
It's a Nintendo thing, they always bring out weak spec systems, still they usually make up for it with new stuff, like with the DS and PSP, the PSP is much and much more powerful (i would easily say 4 times as powerful), but the touchscreen makes it popular and unique.
Still they really should just make a console/handheld for once that both has pretty good specs, and nice new stuff.
Btw some of you might think that it doesn't matter much, but when game developers make a game then they want to get the most out of it, but when you want to make a game for all 3 consoles, then they need to completely adjust the game to work properly on the Wii because the PS3 and X360 (and ofcourse the PC) are much more powerful, which can limit the games because makers don't want to spend lots of money to adjust it so much.
Gohan, the Wii doesnt need to be powerful for it to kick ass.
But i would still get a PSP before i get a Wii, even if i considered buying a wii.
It does, a console is only as good as the games that use it, if you limit games by putting old crap in it then you get less games, which makes the console worse.
Even though the Wii doesn't look bad, i still think the X360 will be the winner, it's powerful, yet doesn't cost insanely much like the PS3, and with the headstart it has, i think it's on the right path.
