I saw the review at ign (hi-def :D). Simply a beautiful game! The controls and game play (with some minor problems) look very tight and flow very well, and with the addition of the level editor AND being able to play on the level you're editing, now that's class!
The multiplayer is the only reason I still have the game and it's not going to last very long.
The campaign mode was boring as hell and the ending sucked so much ass it made me sick to watch.
The multiplayer skill rank is gay as hell because you have to start over for each match mode. And the only thing you can unlock is extra armor pieces. WOW!
Imo it was a let down as far as the hype was concerned.
But, the game does have solid gameplay and I'm enjoying the multiplayer on Team Slayer. So far...
Nice game, but CoD 4 wins for multiplayer imo, that is deathmatch and all, as 4 player co-op is sweet.
Halo 3, made me drop out of my senior year of high school...well worth it...anyone up for some fun Forge editing time? :)

What i also love is the fact that there is so much choice in the weapons, not only are there a lot to choose from, but with the upgrades and perks you can make a lot of different choices.
Anyway imo the beta is already better then Halo 3, it's just that Halo 3 is fun to play co-op.
