Xbox 360!

Hey gamers, What's up?
Anyways, I just got myself a nice Xbox 360 Premium after selling some stuff.


Now I have a debate. I have 3 games.

• Gears of War
• F.E.A.R
• Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfare

Now, I want to switch either F.E.A.R, or Ghost Recon with another game. Namely,

• Burnout Revenge

Which one would you suggest I should switch for it? Should I give up F.E.A.R or GRAW?

P.S. I'm also planning on purchasing a Battery Recharger pack for my wireless controller, and a Ethernet PCI adapter for PC, and in the near future perhaps a remote control. IF you have any other suggestions I could enhance my Xbox experience, please let me know!

Congratulations bud, im currently trying to sell a load of stuff to get an Xbox. I've been told FEAR isn't that great on the Xbox. When I get my Xbox I think i'll get one of the packages from play.com 2 wireless controllers then i've just gotta get a some batterys and the charger. Looks like you've got it sorted bud, someone should make a thread for everyones Live name on it.

Anyways good setup, I would pick fear to give up and it isn't that great on xbox I've been told.

ifu played fear on the pc id deffo switch it, 2 of my instructors have fear on the xbox though and they love it

Yeah, the 360 came with Pr Yr HD connections. I hope those are good enough :P

Anyways, I'm into FPS games with the best online play possible with the most modes, etc. I'd like it to be unique and different than other games.

tbfh you shoudn't go for burnout revenge... dont get me wrong, its a great game on the normal xbox, but not worth paying for on the 360 imo... if i were you, i'd wait untill they get backwards compatability working with it (burnout 3 already backwards compatible) and then get it for a cheaper price for the normal xbox. i doubt theres THAT much difference between the two, and the backwards compatability will make the game high def anyway so yea...

F.E.A.R is apparently amazing online - but so is G.R.A.W, plus I feel the story is more... compelling.

Dont go for Burnout coz A) the achievements are hard >_> and B) its just the same as the previous Xbox version. Buy Rainbow Six:Vegas instead ;P

I would but then I'd already have 3 shooters :p I'm thinking I'll save money for burnout (its only 40$ instead of 60$, and it's the "best racing game of the year") and then later on I'll purchase Oblivion (rated best game of the year).

IMO PGR3/Test Drive: Unlimited are better than Burnout... but I dont really like the arcadey type racing games ;D

Oblivion is a must buy though.

I've always personally liked Burnout from Gamecube, but I think i'd be playing PGR (Seeing as it comes with the package im lookin at lol) but apparently it's very good my freind said it's Xboxs version of Gran Taurismo.

Congrats on the purchase bro, I am getting my Xbox Premium Console next week ;). Gonna probably get Halo 2 for it, then Madden 07, and probably R6: Vegas or oblivion.


Probably gonna spend all my vacation on halo 2 lol.

S-video? Lol... Not much difference over normal composite cable then the s-video. Also the premium doesn't come with s-video. It comes with component (RGB) cables for HD.

S-video is for SD only. It was made to slightly reduce the flicker caused by standard connections.

Yeah they are. Better quality and supports higher resolutions. =P

Anyways. FEAR plays better on the PC. Easier and quicker to do things as the game is fast paced but it's still good on the x360.

Vegas is a good game. Though I would suggest getting Oblivion instead. Why? It's a huge ass open ended game with so much to do. The graphics and sounds are some of the best for the x360. And it'll give you 100+ hours of game play plus replay. Vegas is good but just doesn't stack up to Oblivion in content, features, and game play. Probally one of the best games to come out this year.

Some other fun games are Hitman: Blood Money, Dead Rising, and Lego Star Wars 2.

Also make sure you get yourself Halo and Halo 2. =P

And remember a single player game can be just as good as a multiplayer game. RPG's for the WIN! =P

Personally I would trade for Ghost Recon. You already have two of the best selling games with you. F.E.A.R and Gears of War. I don't see a point in having Chost Recon when Rainbow Six Vegas is out there.

Battery Recharger and a Ethernet PCI adapter are a necessary equipments. But I don't think remote has any use. It is kinda pointless when you have a PC or a DVD System. Since I have MP3 etc. I barely use 360 for any other things then games. Buy a Microsoft Xbox 360 Live Wireless Headset rather then a remote. Easy to communicate while playing online.
