    Xbox 360 Help

    Can anyone help me out?

Monday the 10th, 2 people broke into my brother's house when he came home from work and caught them in his house. They stole some stuff but he managed to get some things back, one of the things they took and he got back was his 360. Yet, when they ran away with it (and he caught them), they dropped it. Since then, he tried playing games and it didn't seem to read them. I was seeing if anyone could give me some tips on how to fix this or how Microsoft could give a free replacement. Please help, he also got seriously injured.

    Thank you,
    Sean

Does it show a white screen with some texts about inserting a XBOX 360 Game Disk?
And has different languages under it?

No, after you insert a disc it seems like it's about to start the game but the screen is just all black and doesn't load up the game.

laser is naffed, its an easy fix. You'll need to change the laser. Easiest way is to buy the exact same drive and place the new one in but you'll need to take out the old circuit board out of the old and place it into the new one since the 360 will need it to allow the keys to be accessed.

not fully true i guess some of it is. My dads old xbox had a disc reading proble mand i fixed it like this.

    1. Open up your xbox 360

    2. Makesure you have a new laser for dvd reading or another dvd drive player Link to find them: Xbox 360 Mods, Xbox 360 Cases, Xbox 360 Case Mods, Xbox 360 Repair Parts, Xbox 360 Controller Cases

    3. unscrew the old dvd drive reader if you are doign this.

    4. Just screw the new one into place

Recommended thing to get is: Toshiba/Samsung TS-H943A Xbox 360 DVD Drive Heard this is the best one around
