ill tell you why the xbox is better than the ps2 its because of the wider selection of games to play online and the much better online features something which the ps2 tried and did pretty shit in.

Great info. I wish that xbox wouldnt have done this tho. Now game makers will have to make games for both types. Instead of making games that hardive can be used. I mean i know the 1st xbox they lost money on every system made. But the games made them stay going. Now im going to have to get 100 more dollars just to get the good pack.

I'm very much satisfied with it. I saw some games of X-box and Gamecube and don't want to have then, maybe the next generation convince me more.
I guess history can prove what videogame is better than other... If you get Saturn Vs Playstation, you will see even with worse hardware ps1 owns saturn. And profit is the best for companies, keep that in mind, more profits means more sells, and more sells means more ppl buying the console...
So, this discussion about xbox-360 will be better than ps3 don't means nothing because we didn't see any of those yet.

Ie try finding shining force 3 on the saturn ;-) However i do play non mainstream as far as you folks are concerned for games. I originally bought the xbox for Mechassault not halo or any first person shooter. Most of us service members that have actually been through real conflicts dont like them(from my personal polling anyhow). I thoroughly and totally hate sports games as well. That leaves strategy action and rpg. My point about the new consoles on this xbox 360 thread is i will be getting the higher package(little hands like yanking cords) and i will be happy with it if it works half as hard as the xbox i currently have. There was a time period where it worked for 120 straight hours before it started getting glitchy. Whereas my playstation 2 glitches about every 9 hours of straight play. Developers make game that i like on a variety of systems. I dont care if one system has 2000 titles and the other has 50. If the one that has 50 titles and i want to play 5 of them its worth picking up. A lot of misunderstanding about graphics and processing comes to light when people get into pissing contests about systems. After a time the console will display better then your tv can ever hope to put out and then your paying extra for something you cant even see. Thats your folks choice as well as mine., but until i drop a chunk of change for an HD im not going to see all the little goodies from a next gen console. For me its all about content to make me and my family happy.
Ps3 has cell processing tech. Meaning PS3 will have the best graphics. But thats about it. Xbox360 has 50% better raw processing capabilities. Meaning better AI/Physics/Gameplay meaning Xbox360 = win. Its going to be Xbox360 > Ps3 > Nintendo revolution. Nintendo revolution will have the funnest games, ps3 will have the best graphics, and xbox360 will have the best games. Xbox is becoming very big in America, its taking up all the nintendo games space up. But its vice versa Overseas in japan and all that. Nintendo is the dominator. So its all opinionated on whats better. Xbox360 ftw. but hey, thats just my 2cents. I am also drawn toward Xbox360 because of live. And almost every xbox360 game will be live compatable. :PQuote:

I've read they want to try combining xbox 360 users with pc users to one server . so you can play with your friend who plays ff XI on pc and you on your xbox and vice versa .
