gamecube is not a good choice it has a low amount of games.
xbox is pretty cool i had one it has awesome graphics and u dont need a memorey card :D
and...u can play xbox live thats totally awesome!
DS is such crap, the second screen looked like a cool idea...but now that I've actually gotten to try it (sister got one for xmas)I found it to be rather annoying :chair: However I am looking forward to a PSP...mmm can't wait, that thing looks freaking sweet, and not only that I'm a diehard sony fan :thumbup: And I just got back from buying a gamecube for my brother's birthday tomorrow. XBOX all the way. Althought i like gamecube bcuz of zelda and mario. But nintendo 64 zelda is the best cant get better. XBOX has cool graphics sound and a big hdd for music holding and saved games.
gamecube has more RPGs i tihnk like Skies of Arcadia and stuff (xbox doesnt have a lot of RPGs) and all u really need to do is pick like ur top TEN picks for games on each system, and choose "Would i rather play these 10 games, or these 10 games" and whichever list u choose, go with that console they belong to

If your into RPG type games then Gamecube is your best bet. FF:CC and Tales of Symphonia are pretty good on the gamecube. I, myself, have a gamecube and I think the graphics are excellent. Gamecube is also silent unless its loading a level or whatever, unlike the Xbox fans lol...
I have all the Zeldas on the Gamecube (including the special edition disk with the retro zeldas) and they are as good as the originals, or even better in my opinion. Metroid prime is a quality game with a pretty good storyline. Metroid Prime 2:echoes is also a very good game, if you decide to go for the Gamecube.
Also other games such as Mario and Resident evil are good buys and they are exclusive to Gamecube :)

I'd have to agree with Dark Bahamut on this one, well partly. Xbox seems geared toward the action/aventure, FPS fans....and GC seems to steer towards the RPG fans, and also those looking to seek reruge from the world in a few mindless hours of enjoyment provided by Mario....HOWEVER, after finally having a full day to test the GC...here's a few things that I've found out:
1)the graphics are good...they seem to be a lot smoother than the PS2, but they pale in comparison to the graphics of Xbox, that thing is a monster.
2)Maybe the one we got was deffective or something, but it seemed to scan and read awefully loud...as if the disc was scratched or something. That was one of the first things I noticed that bothered me.
3)I know I've said this before but it's the biggest complaint with gamecube that I have....the games are made for kids...I know not all the games are kid games, Spider-Man, Baten Kaitos, The Resident Evil series...some very good titles that aren't on the adolescent side. But I just feel weird playing games that don't take more than 2 brain cells to master... (oh and FF:CC sucked ass!! wtf was up with that stupid bucket thing >.< )
