Nice to see lots of productive replies here
Well i like the ps3. I do admit that at first not many good or excellent games came out. But now tons of amazing games are coming out/came out i.e. resistance 1/2, little big planet, killzone 2.
PC - most flexible of the lot.
PC and PS3 own,but oh well most of games are made for consoles first and maybe later for PC too =/
I like the Wii!
Yeah but the PC is a pain in the ass to play most good games these days. I prefer consoles because you really don't have to go through the hassle of buying different GFX cards, computer parts, etc. You can just plug-in and play. The consoles are getting cheaper and cheaper as well while more powerful graphic cards and computers come out, their price increases.
pc wins it can do anything
I'm not sure if I have posted here, but who cares. Xbox 360 fo sho.
i say 360 until a new console comes out :D
Let me make a correction here. Wii is in fact completely region locked. 360's region locking is bound to whether or not the developer chooses to lock it. More then half of them are region free between certain regions. A lot of the PAL games play on the NTSC machines while the other way around might not be the case.
Also for the PS3. As far as I know, it's region free for games. They did state that in a press release before the system came out and I've seen someone play JP games on his NA machine. The BD player is locked though as well as DVDs, PS1, and PS2 games.
All handhelds are region free also. The same goes for all cartridge fed game systems (NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, etc) though the slots have different keys on them to prevent different region games for fitting in (a simple mod of cutting out the tabs fixes this).
Umm... PS3 is the best BD player on the market. You can also install Linux on it and use it as a full PC in itself. Not just that but it's a fully functional media center extender. There is a lot to it.
The same can apply to the 360 in some regards. I use my 360 more as a media hub then anything else.
Now what would I pick? Well I picked the PS3 as it's pretty much the only thing I play games on. I don't play games much anymore and if I do then it's usually rock band which I have for the PS3.
Anyways... Let me just talk about them all.
PC: I actually don't care to play games on it much. I do play RTS games on it but that's a rarity. Games on the PC just tend to be to buggy and a pain in the ass to get working. So I just use the PC as what it's made to be for. Even then I don't use it that much as my iPhone pretty much severs as my email and web browser.
x360: I like this system for certain games like FPS. Though I don't use it much for gaming. I love using it as my media hub for my home media server. Having everything stream right to it for my HTS makes it a great asset.
PS3: Sports, fighters, and music games. That's what I use this for and also it's my BD player. Since I just play rock band, it does get used for gaming.
Wii: I haven't touched it since a month after Brawl came out. I just can't stand it.
PSP: Bought it just for FFVII and I've only made it 10% through it. I have about 8 games for it and half I haven't even put into it.
DS: I play this a lot when I'm working. That's because I can take it with me and it's smaller and easier to use then the PSP.
Other: My iPhone. Must useful gadget I've bought. I also play Sudoku on it all the time.
NoPeace - out
Checked up on it, the PS3 is region free, however that only goes for when you use a HD screen, older screens will still work with the regular region stuff and won't run.
We used a converter, you could just plug it in the Snes, on top of that you would do the NTSC game, and behind it you would plug any PAL game in horizontally.Quote:

Pff, iPhone sucks, my Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 owns it, especially the much higher resolution helps in the browser, and the keyboard for typing. ;)Quote:

PC games are very popular, and growing every minute - No surprise the PC choice is in the lead.
Pc all the way.
Better graphics on pc if you can run on high
Pc all the way.
I like PC because I don't have any thing else except PSP and Game Boy. :P I tried Xbox but its not my thing.
