0.97 + 0.99 server setup help

i want to start a server to play with my friends, but i have encountered some problems!


sql server is set correctly
server files and ips are all changed
editors work with the sql correctly


ports are not forwarded (dont know how to do it and cant find a guide for my router)

so now comes my problem!
joinserver says that it fails to load after ALL the other services are up and running, and
gameserver stays white!

when trying to access my server, loader says that the server is offline, so as i can tell, it doesnt start at all...



ANY help is welcome and will make my day! thx in advance!

do you have any links for an alternate linkserver? cause i've been searching for hours, and i cant find any!

although Linkserver currently works properly, now the gameserver bugs and says its missing files!
but thx anyway for your help! im abbandoning this project!
been trying to set up a server for like a year, tried different versions of the game, none worked, so as you can tell, i cant take it anymore...
