    3 Questions about Mu

Hi everyone, recently I made a Season 1 Mu run but I have three issues:

    1. If I play it on the same pc it is terribly laggy. Does this can be resolved?
    2. The resolution is 800x600. How can I change it?
    3. What if I want to modify it, for example deleting Castle Deep and Chaos Castle event? I mean.. If I delete their .dat files on the server then I also have to mofidy the Client?

    Thanks :)

    1. depends on your pc specs.
    2. see my link post in this thread
    3. I don't think you need to edit the client?
But maybe you need the source code to fully make it work? XD

    1. 2,2GHz Dual Core CPU, 4 GB Ram, 1GB Ati hd, do you think they are too low?
    2. Downloaded the files! The last I charge to the register is the one effective, right?
    3. Any chance to find the source code anywhere? It would be good also the first versions :)

    3. Yes, I know, there is only a 17GB torrent with all the source code but there are no seeders for it..
    2. I tried "Window mode 1820x1024" and it works until you try to change window, if you do so Mu closes itself. I meant that those are .reg files and I guess they modify the Windows register
    1. First I wanted to make something work but I couldn't do that.. I used the videoguides posted in this forum but I have issues with odbc and connecting to my own server (it says disconnected from the server when I click in order to log in) I can't even go into Lorencia, tried 4 times with season 1, 2 and ex700 :(

    3. torrent? XD.
    2. what do you really want? a Full Screen game play? or window mode?
    1. ODBC is fine. there's a lot of guides in here in RZ, on how to set an ODBC.
and the problem of your disconnection, is maybe wrong configuration and try to check the IP's correctly.

    3. Yes, do you think it is a scam? xD
    2. Window mode because I have a 1680x1050 screen so I wanted to move between windows while playing Mu
    1. I think I set it right following those guides, even 32 and 64 bit, copied all the SQL Server rules. To me, the real problem is Windows 8.1, all this tools are very old and they can't work all together on new systems..
Regarding the IP: I have the IPv4 (that I read in cmd/ipconfig) 192.168.1.100 and then I have the IP that I read on whatsmyip.org 93.51.8.212 and relating to the videoguides I put in the former when I see 192... on the guide and the latter when I see that the guy has 93.... Then I left 127.0.0.1 when already there is because if I got it correctly it is the self reference machine ip. With these configuration I can't make work it out at all.. Why? :(

    Re: 3 Questions about Mu

Code is code, I know what is it, and https://thepiratebay.al/torrent/1168...ode_Collection this is a torrent that share code xD

Anyway I got this trying to start any server on SQL Server 2008,
A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server) (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 53)

How do I have to set it during installation in order to get access and create databases?
