    ! A Few Questions

Well, I feel like I've tried just about everything. I've searched and trial and error'd o.0 to no avail.

I keep getting the "You are disconnected from server" when attempting to run main.exe

I'm using a router and have ports 44405, 55901 and 55919, I think they are, open.

I want to connect to my server via two local computers, one being the host.

QUESTION 1: What ip do I use in the main.exe?
QUESTION 2: Do you necessarily have to modify the serial of the server and main if they match already?
QUESTION 3: Is MainCracker an option for me?
QUESTION 4: How do I properly modify the version in main, using MainCracker or hex (1.07.08 hasn't worked for me in MainCracker thus far)?

I am pretty confident the server files' IPs are correct, but I'm not sure about the one in IpList.dat (I'm using the MFS pack)

QUESTION 5: Do I use my WAN ip in IpList.dat or leave it as 127.0.0.1? The thread seemed to say change it, so I have.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

    *I should add I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit

    Re: [Help] A Few Questions

q1. ip global from cmyip.com if u want online or lan ip which ucan find at start>cmd> ipconfig > IPv4 Address - = the ip u should use for offlien server.

q2. no u dont if they dont match just change ip.

q3. its not but if u wanna check the ip and or serial and client version what it is then u should open with maincracker and copy it then open XVI32[HexEDITOR] and find it and replace with urs..
do that thing to change ur IP.
q4 1.07.08 version is "22:4=" thats what u should replace with [only with hexeditor] and also serial .. its what u see on server files lang>kor>commonloc.cfg or scf/mmt/encdata> common.ini.

q5. leave it 127.0.0.1 is more safe , but if u see something is wrong
    then put this inside
    Code:
    127.0.0.1
    "Wan IP"
u will run ur server du n worry. and good luck

    Re: [Help] A Few Questions

Thanks so much for the reply!

Considering your response, I have absolutely no clue why it wont work.

Is it even possible to connect to my own server from the same local network?

That might be my problem and if so, is there a workaround for this?

    Re: [Help] A Few Questions

YAY! I seem to be getting somewhere. I actually get an error in the CS now 183, The network connection was aborted by the local machine. I've searched and see you have helped someone with this in the past. You told them to try the BoR CS. Any chance you have a link of one I should use? And how do I install it into my server?

Sorry about all the questions I'm determined to get this working! :P

*Never mind got it working, just has a HTTP/1.1.404 Not Found error, I don't think it matters.

Now I disconnect when I click on a subserver.

*I'm dumb, forgot to edit the IPs of the new files. HOPEFULLY IT ALL WORKS NOW. I'll let you know.

    Re: A Few Questions

Well, I'd test it and let you know whether it worked or not, but the parite virus included in the MFS pack I got, fucked with the exes and it wont run. Now I have removed the parite (which spread to thousands of files)and the load of trojans and downloaders and am looking for server files that aren't littered in viruses.

If I can't find files that aren't covered in viruses (seems likely I wont at this rate) I'll have to find a way to isolate the viruses so that they don't spread.

    Then hopefully it works. :)

well most of the files have viruses the only way you can still run them while anti virus is up is to exclude them from the scan option. i use norton 360 so no problems when dealing with virus.

    Re: A Few Questions

I understand that, but in terms of a parite you can't really ignore it. It spreads from exe to exe and soon you wont be able to open anything. >_<

I'm thinking about switching from the MFS files now because all I get is "Loader data not found"
