    shout About a VPS Server..will these specs be alright?

    Will one core 3.20ghz, 4gb ram, 200gb hard drive and 100mbit Internet connectivity be enough to run my MU server season 6 ?
    If yes, how many people could that handle?

    I think recommended would be two cores of that type.
    However , as a minimum it would be just fine.
    100-150 Online Players will be a Piece of Cake.

    But I don't recommend VPS , in my case ,I'm really afraid of DDOS ... and the best DDOS protections are only available for Dedicated Servers.
    Still it's up to your requirements.

    I must agree with you about dedicated servers.

    @PheonixMU,

    But to start, I think this VPS is good, but when you server got a popularity, change to a Dedicated.

    People confuse 'firewalls' with 'mitigators', firewalls are just for traffic controlling/restricting in a better administrative manner, when you speak about a DoS/DDoS really aimed at your applications, then they won't be of any use.

    In this case you need something like a ddos mitigation company... Ie: DDoS Protection Solutions

    They will take care of the bad traffic for you, although the initial cost wouldn't be cheap for you, unless you are wanting to invest in something at the begining...

    Good luck :)

    Depends of your players ISP & Locations to be honest, as any other datacenter, although sometimes it is laggy or disconnect suddenly, causing troubles...
