How many players u planning to have? Cause with that ur not holding that many.

i have level 2 vps there and it can handle 150 to 300 online without lag and it have fast set up and speed

4 Sub-Servers / 100 + each sub,
6,8 gb ram usage
4 % ~ 7 % cpu usage
SQL 2012/WIN 2012
so if you want only 50-100 with 1-2 gameserver, i would say 4 gb ram is enough.
OVH is cheapest solution & ddos protection included.
Anyway you can do speed test b4 purchase on ovh/eu/ca there -> http://proof.ovh.net/
But don't be suprised of result, i know many pinoy players & they have 150-300 ms outside ph (pld sucks the most).

With ddos protection included, only ovh or ovh-resellers, since they offer up to 120/130gbps protection.
W/o ddos protection, your server will be easy target, even if you configure fail over ips, smart troll never give up.
There is few ph communitys hosted outside ph, yes they complain sometimes about lag,
but it's better to be online 24/7 than be offline every troll-attack.
