Actiontec m1000
I recently switched ISP's from one that provides cable, to one that provides DSL.
Mainly to upgrade speed. Here is the problem though, the new modem, in all it's retardedness, wishes that it could be a router, because it has wifi compatabilities, and port forwarding inside its modem configuration page.
The dilemma? well it does a horrible job of being a router, because its wifi has like sub-Wireless G speeds, and the port forward page is impossible to figure out. I was wondering if anyone that has this modem has got it to successfully behave only as a modem and not as a wannabe router, that way i can use my good router to forward ports for my good old mu test server i'm attempting to make.
thanks for the attention :)
