Main is not enough, and actually, what you are trying to change didn't involve main.exe at all (if you download the super 1.04D at release section)
If you want to use Thai in your character and guild creation, you may need to hack the code page of main.exe though..

You need to change(translate) following files:
    almost everything under Data/Local/YOUR LANGUAGE

However, Notice the super main up there don't have the language for Thai yet, so your best bet is to backup your ENG folder to a language you won't use (such as CHN) and start editing stuff under Data/Local/ENG instead.

Your main target are following files:
    Item.bmd (Item Name)
    ItemToolTip.bmd (Item Tooltip Name)
    ItemToolTipText.bmd(Item Tooltip Text)
    Text.bmd(everything else)
if you are using anything later than S5, then you need to change more stuff. A quick and dirty solution is find someone's already translated stuff and throw them in to replace the old files.

You need MagicHand to modify bmd files.

Interesting, I just answered somebody else's question there with similar premise.
