Can't Open Ports
Anyone can help me? I can't open my ports even though i had configured my port forwarding options in the router. I had configured the firewall and tried everything, still the canyouseeme.org result is this:
Error: I could not see your service on ***.***.***.***on port (44405)
Reason: Connection timed out
Error: I could not see your service on ***.***.***.***on port (55901)
Reason: Connection timed out
PLEASE HELP ME?? Your help is very much appreciated
Do you try to check your port when your server is running or not? because server must be running in order to success.
Else you will have to portforward correctly be sure you portforwareded theports on your LAN IP (IPv4 from run>cmd>ipconfig
and it should normally work.
I had tried it sir, but it still won't work. I used my IPv4, still it wont open ports. I had searched if my ISP was blocking it but its fine. anymore solutions sir?Originally Posted by KarLi

Perhaps, do you use wireless connection? because that might be the issue.

try to allowed the program in your firewall
i use wirless connection and my ports are fine sometimes it lan that cause it.Have u tried turning off your firewall?
I cant take screenshot for now.. But i followed those instructions made by ragezone members. Here's a screenshot of my router.
I had already configured my firewall with my IPv4 and ports 44405 TCP and 55901 UDP.
I run my server files then I checked my ports, but still the result is the same. I'm using Windows XP SP2

dont use mixed port types / tcp/udp/both
use for all Both and recheck again.
I have an Dedicated Server win2kr2 .. I try to open port in Window Firewall. But still have the same problem with him on router.
Anyone can help please?
Did you buy that dedicated server? maybe you need to ask your host to unblock UDP/TCP portforwarding.
YES. i bought it. and i try to ask them so they said they not block any port at the end. But when we try to add port in WindowFirewall. The port checker still coming up with Port still closed.
You know why ? any solution?
Do you run your server first and then see if ports are opened?
because port must be running to be working.
if yes, try to do it not in firewall but in router settings.
