    Can't run without opening ports

I've tried to run offline without port forwarding, using my ip, my ipv4 from the ipconfig command on the cmd, 127.0.0.1, but none have worked, should I try with a different adress I haven't tried yet? is it possible I just haven't configured the files propperly? help/suggestions will be very welcomed

    127.0.0.1 isnt LanIp its local.
Lan ip is Ipv4 and goes like 192.168.X.xx

i think u might even edit the ip wrong in main or files thats why u cant connect.

My LanIp doesn't start with 192.168, I'm connected to my router via an Edimax powerline>ethernet adapter, could this cause the issue?

then you are not using your lan IP..
use your lan ip and recheck or use your CmyIP.com - Check My IP address fast! and open ports and thats it.

You need to either use your

IPV4 address. = Does not require opening ports = Local Server
Global IP Address = Requires Opening Ports = Online Server

To find your IPV4 open CMD= Command Prompt Type ipconfig and look for IPV4 Address and use that IP in ur client/server

To find your global IP go to What's My IP Address? - Obsolete Browser Page and then use that in your client/server but you got to be able to portforward which will require you to go into your router and open up ports.

And yes all PC/Modems have IPV4 Address. If not you would have no internet.

    GL,

    GL,
I managed to use my global IP and set up the server, whenever I use the ipconfig command the IPv4 I see, isn't a 192.168.x.x adress, it is a 10.x.x.x adress, probably because of the way I'm connected to my router, and I was not able to use this adress as my server IP.
