Changing server serial

I want to change the client and server serial so that it can be my own instead of someone elses like most server have "MuOnline"
or something as there serial so it advertisment for them. Is there a way for me to change it without getting my server or client bugged up?

just change in server files
X:\MuServer\Data\Lang\XXX\commonloc.cfg
and in there change:
ClientExeVersion = 0.97.04 (server version)
ClientExeSerial = SoyaAK49hAtEmP55 (server serial code)

Usually there is 3 lang: chs, kor and tai (mey some else)
If you have change all those 3 commonloc.cfg files in those folders then you need maineditor

you open your client main.exe with maineditor
then you should see there same items... your server version and
serial code most be same what is in commonloc.cfg

It did a bit but another problem poped up. I did as you said and when I launch GameServer on the top of the program bar it still said the serial it had before therefor I can not connect to the game so I get dced login in.

I foudn my problem. There was an extra folder I had to change the serial in. Thanks for the help malemees =].
