Disconnect when entering Login Page v1.04j Season 3 Ep1

Hi Guys,

I have just installed Season 3 Episode 1 Mu Server on Windows 2008 R2 x64 (I know this OS is probably not the best choice). The server starts up fine, everything running. I load client it connects, I click the first server and then when I select the the Server to login to it disconnects as seen in the below image:


Is this something to do with the joinserver?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Check ports of GS or the Main.exe serial must be incorrect.

if theres a CRC checking on your server side files, please do make sure its right.
Also your game server ports must be right and open for public to access.

Best advice ever, check GameServer.exe always when something bad happens after you click the server and you receive such Error/Disconnect etc then you will get an error message why you get disconnected and then you can tell us what the error says and then we can help you easier .

if u dont get any error means its probably your gs port 55901 not opened

Hi Guys,

Thanks for all advice. I have now changed to to Ex700 server files and all was working find, I would login and everything to my server when testing between my PC and my VM (my server is hosted on a VM on my PC).

However, I have now set my VM to a bridged network connection and forwarded ports on my router to my VM IP (192.168...). When I launch the game on my PC it loads and and displays the game screen where the server list it but there are no servers listed. See Picture



After a while it times out and you get disconnected. It seems like it is connecting to the server but not to the server list?

How can I debug this? my ports that are open are:
Server Ports
TCP+UDP 55900-55910
TCP+UDP 44404-44406
TCP+UDP 51211-51215
TCP+UDP 52761-52763
TCP+UDP 55556-55558
Website Ports
TCP+UDP 79-81
TCP+UDP 443 - 443

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the tip! However with my current problem I don't see anything logging in the gameserver other than the usual stuff. I believe I have been following your guide to setup the server.

dude wat are those ports..
u just open 44405 - 44405
55901/55901 and
55919-55919
in TCP

Ok, do I set my server IP to my local 192 IP or to my Global IP? And do I leave the MuServer StartUp IP as 127.0.0.1?

192.XX = Lan ip = no need ports = only for u to play.
global ip = need ports like u did = thats what u need to use.
use 127.0.0.1 everywhere in files except:
the files u need to use global ip are in :
data/connectserver/data/serverlist.dat
data/mapserverinfo.dat
data/iplist.cfg
data/lang/kor or eng/commonloc.dat

also in your main.exe need Glboal ip and thats it

Hi, I've done all that and checked open ports. with portchecker.co 44405 and 55901 are open. However still no server list shows when connecting client.
Nothing in gameserver log either.

I've also tried turning off the windows firewall.

ok try using lan ip and see if u can connect, if yes then network issue if not means wrong edited the ips

If it works on lan ip then its ur ports there most likely getting blocked by your ISP. Or your doing something wrong with the ports or editing locations wrong.

It works on LAN :-/ I will try find a real hosting povider for the server. However playing it on LAN i found an error when I hover the dark raven item in inventory. See gameserver output below:

That's not really something we should help you with now, fix your conneciton problems and leave bugs on the side or u gotta buy also good files.
