reinstall and use sqleval.exe "sql 2000" if u have 2008 install 2008 XD
also it seems that u added wrong directory?
use windows login and give full permision for your sql user for create DB

but i still got the same error, OS error? my vps's Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition SP2 perhaps that would give you some clues?

when you open Management studio login like in foto:
it worked, i just didn't change the path in creating the database. is that ok? but when i tried to install mu core, it always gives my Database conenction failed error. perhaps its because i didn't change the path into the Database folder in the muserver?

on mucore files use odbc connection and run the odbc
Yes, the default connection on config.ini is ODBC. still got

what's the problem with this,
i already created and restored MuOnline on default location, changed the config.ini on mu maker. also when i try to set up server, it also has Database problems. when i run startup, it shows ODBC connection failed

u mst try to rename on odbc.req (local) SQLEXPRESS/PC-NAME smth like dat as i remember and on ur server file db's connection too.
i guess i know the the cause of tthe problem.. its the compatibility. the default in creating a database is 2005. and since the DB which is on Ulfsark's muserver is 2000. but when i change the compatibility into 2000, it gives me an error just like on the photo above.. lol, but when i used the default, it wont give me en error but give me an error on database connection

Nah, i tried to make the compatibility mode of SQL into XP, and i managed to make the compatibility in creating database into 2000. still got the same problem. see, what i observe and also what i did to make it work on my PC is i justs did what's on the guide. when creating a database, change the path into C:\MuServer\Database. and it worked. but in vps when i tried to change the path of the DB, it gives me an error just like above.. :(

I added write and create data permission, no errors occurred, guess it works like it should
still got error in serverfiles and mucore. database connection failed :(
