Error on olly while hooking a dll file

does anyone can help me im hooking a dll. on my main.exe...my problem is everytime i use RB> copy to executable file>selection an error come and says "Unable to locate in executable file"...
Does anyone knows how to solve my problem?

You have it when you want to save?
Select all edited lines manually and copy to executable and then try to save or maybe ur trying to patch when file is running?
