ICMP packets really? you can simple disable than the ICMP because you dont need ICMP for the muserver, and if you disable it, the ping not will works :O

So the icmp function of your program is +1 useless thing.

Dont write anything if you dont know anything about networking.

If you just simple get attacked by IP stresser the full host will be down, not only your small lowcost VPS, the full host, maybe with all of the host servers, than they will check which IP is attacked, and than turn off your service, because its cause problem for the hosting.

This programs was good maybe 10 years ago, like sygate firewall what I used too... But nowdays you need real firewall system which means you need HW firewall system and after you have HW firewall you can have SW firewall for the 99% protection.

Syn flood, icmp flood etc its not attack, its just toy for kids. for muserver you can disable the incomming UDP, ICMP connection, but you need to DO IT before the windows.

If the attack hit the windows layer the win srv can freeze or crash, but if you do it before, so you have a linux server with a small private network like me you can manage the data transfer and handle the connection before the windows.

I am using MikroTik switch before my server, than I have a mikrotik OS VPS on it, which makes DHCP, DNS, etc, and on this OS layer protection I have custom firewall rules and address table, you can access to the game, only when your client is running on your pc.

So if you want to attack my server with syn flood or with anything from your current PC you need to run the game while the attack.

Than I will see this, and I can ban your HWID and you will never play on my server.

Its working? yeah, I am started using my system and small another thing more than 2 years ago, and its totally good.

The biggest attack was 15 gb on my host, and my server solved it without problem, so yeah, you can make protection, but not with single software, and if you dont have enough knowledge to make your own firewall system, or code anything, better to buy a cheap DDOS protected VPS, where the host for example OVH handle the incomming data for you.

If you want to run a shit home hosted server, its okey you can use this applications, because your server will close within 1-2 weeks or 1-2 month, but if you want to really make a good and stable server, you will order a VPS, than if you can buy DDOS protected VPS why not?

The difference between a normal VPS and the ddos protected vps is about 5-10$ check lghost.co.uk... you can get 4gb ram 2 core 100gb hdd / ssd for 11$

If 11 $ is too expensive for you, than please dont make one more crap server for the internet community.

Thats not means your shit application protect your server, that means nobody want to attack you really. So you just need a 2.2.11 exploit, than upload a shell and you are done, anybody can format your whole pc. Its not a big thing and you dont need to be a good hacker to make it. Kali linux is made for this kind of attacks.
