I havent got any lag with luciano's 39, i just get lag with a GS downloaded by a member of the forum in releases, make sure you arent using this.

I keep Luciano 39 beta server with GS and GS_CS with 40-60 peoples online and without lags! Only i hawe 3 GB of ram!

heard the intel xeon doesn't have any problems, but i really want the Q6600, so i wanna be sure if somebody has/had it and had/had not problems with it

i run 39 by luci with over 100 online zero lags.

more on topic, yes mu will run on any intel / amd processor as long as u use windows server OSs or linux+wine

Using a vps, there shouldn't be any problems.. Read up on Windows Virtual Server

buying a 4 cores processor isnt spending money for nothing, just let the world make more software ready to work with it.
