[Help] Does server files have to be in D:??

    Hi!!

I've been trying to put a server working on my computer, but just for me, so i went to see some tutorials and all of them show the serverfiles in D: but i used them on C:.
Is it necessary they are on D: or can they be anywhere?

    Thks a lot!!

actually you can put the server on any drive you want if you make sure you're restoring the databases from mssql to the right drive. I've done it and I've had no problems with using the C drive...

I've made servers on the c: drive, when you upload the database backups in sql server, just change the drive to C: instead of D: in the location of the backups (after you select them).
