[Help] Error when running GameServer.exe file

Hello, I'm kinda new so I apologise if I'm posting in the wrong place or if this question has already been asked/answered. I've used the Search but with no luck, probably my internet connection because that comes up with an error too- anyway, excuse my mumbling :P

I've been trying to create my own server, clearly, and whenever I open the GameServer.exe file I get an error message that says:

Please input authentication server address and port number.

What does this mean and how can I resolve the problem?
Does it mean I need to change the IP address in the file? If so, I've tried (by opening the .exe file using Notepad then saving it once the IP has been changed) but the file won't open, and it gets a new error, which I can't remember. If you need me to post the error, please let me know and I'll try.

Does anyone have any clue how to resolve this?

Yea, go into your startup, and change all ip's there to your local. It woll work then, i had this problem too.

Ok, thank you for the tip. But as soon as I open the GameServer file and edit the IP address, the shortcut icon disapears and I get the following error:

C:\D\muserver\GAMSE~1\GAMSE~.EXE
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXE.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.

i think i have the solution..is it the gameserver or the gameserver for castle siege?

I believe it's just GameServer. Nothing connected with CastleSeige. I think it may be the program I'm opening the file with. xD
