Next thing I'd try is checking your switches, hubs, and/or router -- I had a switch go out on me that gave me a similar problem. Usually if it's just started to happen, and if it is your router - you can reset the router by unplugging the power (let it cool down about 10-15 min). When you plug it back in, see if the problem is still there. If this solves it for you, don't do like me and rush out and buy one^^ -- it could have been a power drop / spike (doesn't take much) to lock something up - guess you would know if it happened again.

i have a same problem but my server is version 0.97 =(

hmmm if you setup using luciano's guide then you do not need router and stuff, because everything is local.. but wtf could be causing it now... hmmm

I have the same problem...
Time ago my server files (Luciano Beta 39) doesn't shows any error. But when i changed the mapserverinfo the error appears.
Change your mapserverinfo ...

well actually i had the same problem with DS lag and all users were kicked out...
later i found that every time i start FireFox or it's working more than 1h GS start lag , and then...bug
to prevent that i stop FF start from all tabs but just only with 1 , now i use FF 3.0 B1
hope it helps , for me it works good now...haven't that bug for few days

I am testing the beta 41 to 4 days and that error did not appear.
I had this problem when my server had only 1.5 GB ram it now has 4.0 GB and not have more problems like this! I still think the problem is the computer.
The beta 41 runnig perfect without lag!
Mmm. I have 1.2 GB RAM. Before this error, my server worked one week perfectly in line.

i did what nand0stylusmu told me, it still happen but less then before.
I think it's a problem of the database Ranking. My Event Server when the server falls it show me an error. any Help?
Hmm what about putting an autorestarter on your Dataserver?

I solved my problem...
I remplace all the databases for the Luciano's databases.
The Ranking database was the error.
