[Help] Mu server no linux

Srry i being post here again, but my other topic has disappear... i dont know why =\

Well what i wanted ask is if someone of you know how to setup mu server on linux. Its there some topic talking about this?

mu can't run in linux .

it can,mssql to mysql and .exe emulated with wine but i see no difference in linux fc6 and win2k8 enterprise sp1 if you know what you need and to set it up it will run smooth and stable even on worst computers.My longest uptime in windows is 225 days on this server system with no faults of windows,prompt and smooth as at first boot but i cleaned cache memory each week.
PS: UPS System used to avoid electricity faults

Exactly... [RCZ]ShadowKing i though on that but no 1 has a guide? Cuz i never played MU, i am some sort of programmer and i have this dedicated server, my friends want me to compile and run one MU server thought soemone of u could help... Can u RCZ?

changing mssql to mysql at versions higher than 97 is a bit harder because you have to decrypt some .dat files to change db info(dataserver.dat and exdb.ini.dat)

Well let's try setup the 0.97 version, if everything goes well then mby some people will like to make the decrypt the data and made the mu server run on linux... Would be great for the people who want to host mu servers on dedicated servers without waste to much money.

So what u say? RCZ can you help me?
