    Help with AllowableIPList.txt

    Hi all,

I need some help with the "AllowableIPList.txt" in the Eventserver-folder.

    I got this atm:

    0
    127 0 0 1 255
    192 168 0 0 255
    85 11 236 0 255
    end

The server itself is sitting on the LAN (192.168.0.55)

And its behind a firewall/router, all ports sorted - but:

Im trying to connect from my brothers house that have another IPS, it dosent allow him to connect.

Something Antihack attempt... thingy, and client is disconnected.

    What shall I do?

I dont want to add just _his_ ip, but what about the rest?

    /Fraggi

Why you want to access it remotely?
This file is a protection so the software will not accept any connection from untrusted addressed so if your brother's IP is not in that file the software think he is untrusted address and don't accept him.

    Re: Help with AllowableIPList.txt

    Access it remotley?

    Not the file..

When He is trying to connect to the server, it says in the DataServerX something about Hack attemnt, and DC him.

So to allow ppl to join the server and play, what do I need to do?

As it is noe: Noone can comment to my server..

    ! Re: Help with AllowableIPList.txt

    Gah,

    In short:

Its only IP adresses in theese that can connect:

    0
    127 0 0 1 255
    192 168 0 0 255
    85 11 236 0 255
    end

All other becomes DCed, with a Antihack in the logs, Ill try to get them posted.

    This is how it becomes:

    Even tho I only deleted 192 168 0 0 255 - I only wnated to show the idea..

So how can I fix it?

    It becomes the same result if I remove the line;

    85 11 236 0 255

    and the other InetIP

    Help me please!

    Sure, but;

    Putting 1 in the end of: 192 168 0 0 255 like: 192 168 0 1 255 - Dosent make ppl from outside of my LAN able to connect..

    Your REALLY dont get me..

    I removed the 192 168 0 0 255 - JUST TO SHOW YOU THE ERROR MESSAGE...

    The same message appear when I remove the 85 X X X 255 adress..

So if Im not adding my brothers IP in there - HE CANT CONNECT..

And no other from the outside..
