100 what an idiot will ddos mu online server with that power? i tested my self, i ddosed my own ovh server with 54 gb/s botnet. It freeze for 2 seconds, and no demage. No one will doss fucking mu server with 100 gb/s "just for fun". so ddos protection is working.
Believe me, it is pretty easy to do that nowadays. Also all you have to do, is keep that for half a day or a whole day and OVH will terminate your server. Literally as what happened to many friends already.
The purpose of OVH protection, is not to protect 'real targets' that are attacked all the time, but instead they only want to keep 'safe' the customers that never receive ddos attacks (the majority of their customers are of this type). So if you really are under attack (all the time), I'm sorry, OVH is no go, but if you get attacked occasionally then it can be an alternative depending what is happening.
Anyway. Buy me VPS host 1gb/s internet line, 4gb ram, and 3 cores, hdd 200gb for 25$/month. + DDoS protection.
