How do I set up my 1.2Q client to connect to my server?

I'm a noob... I got 1.2Q server up and running, web-site is working, but i can't connect to it using my client(cylon). I created a launcher, put it in the client folder, hexed the main.exe, replaced existing ip with my own, and when start the client, the serverbox says "Cyclon" and when I click it there is only one server, "Cyclon - enter", and if i click that it tells me that I am disconnected. If I start the client and server is off-line, it tells me I'm disconnected from the server. The same thing happens with any client I try :crash: .Can anybody please help me? :hail::hail::hail::hail::hail::hail:

i got exactly the same problem, i tried alex' client but still doesnt work, anyone knows fix?

I have a similar problem with 1.02Q - others cannot connect to me server but I can connect. I have checked all firewalls, ports, etc. and they seem okay. When others try to connect to the server, they say the server is offline and the server disconnects them, but the server is online on the server side. Any ideas?

Make sure u forwarded ALL ports, double check firewalls and stuff, becouse there is the problem.

I got everything working .
