How to change item properties (e.g. Change Red Dragon Armor from 50 deff to 90 deff)

I found that you can change those properties in item.txt. Can you please tell me if it's possible to make a two handed weapon one handed?

Hey ,
You can change item's defense,rate,damage and stuff like this from item.txt yes.

and about he weapon check this:

the first code if its 1 change it to 0 and restart GS and retry ,or else open your item.bmd from your client with magic hand editor (u can google it for online)
