i have a problem with my server 97d+99

i creat a server 97d+99 an my laptop.
when i start the game from my laptop game works ( game conect to the server )but if i start the game from my pc game not works( show me : u are disconnected from the server , and server in on .
i'm afraid not work on another pc(pc of players)
my server is creat with ip dymani(router)
help me guys !! thx

so you get easily some clue how to host server in local/global net
servers, deniedkid and karli wrote there some nice guides

Edit: forgot to mention that hosting server in laptop is kinda killing laptop
laptops are not meant to work continously in long time
their cooling system is way low also hard drives are not meant work with high stress

also every beginning is way hard but you have something to do to kill your time :)

are you under router? if yes then you can connect from the same pc.

this is my connection :
router--->switch-|---->Laptop( the server is instaled here and
| when i start the client game works fine)
|---->Pc( i copy,paste my game client from the
laptop in my pc and when i start the game
he gives me error "u are disconected from
server" but the server is online becouse
if i run the client from my laptop works).

My laptop and my pc have the same ip becouse i have that switch

well
do so then: startmenu run cmd
look your local ip(in ur server comp)
put this into your main.exe you want to run in other lan pc
how to do that? well get some hexeditor theres alot u can find in google
search for ascii word >connect< theres many but you look for first one it may be 127.0.0.1 or some other ip
if you dont understand how then just reply again :)

in main i put the dns because i have ip dynamic if i will put the global ip then i must change the ip in the main every time i switch of the router.but if wil put the local ip in main other people can connect to my server ?

i give clieant to another guy and when he try to enter the game he apeear tha same error "u are disconected from the server"
but i can eneter the game and the ports 44405 and 55901 are unlock
