Install Mu Core 1.0.8 on other VPS with xamp 1.7.1

Hi everyone,
I tried to install Mu Core 1.0.8 on other VPS with xamp 1.7.1 but I cannot connect to my database MuOnline on my dedicated server.
Example:
I have VPS installed Xampp 1.7.1 with Mu core 1.0.8
dedicated server with Mu Online running fine
I tried to connect to database MuOnline by MSSQL but it's failed.
Is there any config to install Mu Core byt that way.

I know ODBC use for local connect but
I did try it aswell. Its still conect failed.
Now, I'm stuck here

You need to get a webserver better which enables MSSQL so u can remote then.
but u said VPS right? hmm normally u enable MSSQL and open the 1433 port and enable on TCP/IP the pipes on sql server or something.
