Is it possiable to make accounts off of another host?

I was just wondering if it possiable to make an account off of another host not on the same ip. Like lets say the server is on a computer 5 miles away from me and I have a website server at home. Is it possiable for people to register from my place and the data goes over to the server? Sorry if I'm not clear.

your answer is yes.
you'd have to make sure the mssql server port is forwarded if you are using a router on the website computer, and if you are using muweb, in the installation, don't put 127.0.0.1 for mssql server adress, put your website computer's WAN adress. That should make it work. If you are not using muweb, use php to connect your webserver to your muserver's sql server by using your muserver's computer's wan ip adress.
