Issues With Server Setup

Hello everyone!

Recently I decided to create my own mu online server and unfortunately encountered few problems with it. First of all I'd like to mention that I have very little, but some, experience in creating mu online servers.

I chose s4, as this is my favorite season. I downloaded the files from thread : http://forum.ragezone.com/f196/setup...season-753473/
and set it up - manually creating ODBC entries, as I always had issues with ODBC files, that are provided with the server files, in the past.

Everything seems to be working perfectly, but when I open the game I can't even see the server list as I immediately get a message that I am disconnected form the server. I edited the client with xvi32, changed the ip and the serial form the files. I also noticed that that dataserver1 is in standby mode, and I am pretty sure it should be active.

I will mention that I forwarded all the ports, turned the firewall off, turned the antivirus off and tried different server files, and I get the same problem.

I hope that someone will be able to help me out, and hopefully I will manage to get it working:)

PS. I can use newer server files as well - I just want it to be s4+ (with summoner, skill tree and s4 items +socket system) and almost bugless. So, if you have never (s5/s6+) files then I can use them as well:)

Not seeing the server and getting dc its still a misconfigured IP in files or client or even your ports might not be opened correctly.

Dragon Seth, helped me out with the issue!

The problem was the router. I had the ports opened for a wrong ip.
