local ip

hello RZ.. i just encountered a problem regarding my local ip.. i have my server in my desktop but every time i will open my laptop which will connect thru wi-fi the local ip in my server pc always changing and gives a ip conflict error.. how can i fix this? btw my OS is W7 32... T_T

Use wired connection and Do not turn off and on your router
type: Run> CMD > ipconfig /all
and you will see the ip in ETHERNET ADAPTER LOCAL AREA CONNECTION
and below you will see your I.P Add just behind IPv4 etc :D

:D and if you are still having that problem go NO-IP and create yours :D

i do have a no-ip account and using it in my server for almost a year now and no problems.. and then this problem occurs suddenly... T_T

how bout ports? arent they blocked?
