    Map editing

    Hello!
Today i was searching for info how to edit muonline maps.
I found plenty of editors, converters, but there was no tutorials.
What i understood, is that .att is file, which contains info about where player can move, where player can wear weapons, where is safe zone and where is non accessible zone.
.obj describes location and rotation of .bmd objects in map
.map - ground of the map.

But there are millions of factors like .att can be encrypted, decrypted, 64, 128bit, it can be exported and so and so.
Well is there any tutorial how to edit muonline maps?
    Thank you !

Use MuWorld Editor 3.0, Its very nice and easy to use.

you open Terrain.att file and editing, then save the changes and test.

*remember that always that you make a change, you must do it in both sides, Muserver and client.

This is the program link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ip9ou0l0dx...203.0.rar?dl=0

As i guess, this tool is for editing the client *.map, *.obj and *.att files, right?
Like i open *.map file, and tool automatically opens and edits *.obj and *.att for this *.map file.

You said, that it is necessary to make changes in both sides - how to save changes in server file, if this tool only allows me to edit *.map file, wich is located in client, but not in server?

    P.S. Still waiting for KarLi's tutorial ;)

    Re: Map editing

first thing to do is edit the customer terrain.map

leave it to your liking and then saved, open below pentium Tools ( I leave the link of the program that I use)

and the Maps Files ( * Att Editor ) tab open the Terrain.att have edited and save it where it says File , Save Att . For Server ( I recommend you put another name for example TerrainServer.att )

and so the file remain in your client world X (map have edited )

cut, Rename the file by the corresponding map and then replace it on the server. always have a backup in case of an error .

    regards
