Messages not appearing

Hello to everybody. I have one not serious problem, but is a problem :P Anyway. When I am pick one item from down, it doesn't appear a message. e.g. "Obtained Short Bow". Is there any setting from the side of MU Server? I have 97d+99 items.

97D clientside don't have this SYSTEM to show obtained item / zen .

One more quenstion (Sorry for the wrong section). From where I can adjust the excellent drop rate? I Searched, i found few topics about it BUT, I didn't understand from where you are changing it exactly.
