Migrating Databases

Hello friends , I wonder
as a database ( MuOnline ) is changed to other files
that have 3 databases ( MuOnline , MuOnline_Event , MuOnline_Ranking ) .

Not a good idea , mostly its better if u can keep the database and get tables from the other database season u wanna upgrade to your old so it would work there too.

But well what can i say, there are some guides "just search (muonline database migrating) and u will find out some guides which is all u need''

Every database can be migrated / upgraded / downgraded / converted to different format, even with different structures
it just matter of time, for example 10k+ acc db with over 70 differences i've migrated in about 3 hour or so
really depending on the amount of differences & execution time.

Of course some of converting tasks cannot be done with sql & require additional skills (but it's never late for you to learn).

If ever anyone tell you "you can't, not a good idea" just ignore it, they care first about post-count then about helping users.


MuOnline Event & Ranking databases wont affect gameplay in any way, it's enough if you restore it from another files
or if you upgrade from 3 to 1 databse, then export full struct & data to new MuOnline.

To migrate database alone, basic sql knowledge is required, it's enough if you learn it for few days/weeks
and you will understand what is this all about, if you face some problem with "harder task"
