I edit config.php with PC-NAME/SQLEXPRESS but the install page doesn't start
I tried some version of XAMPP but nothing change

why not use MSSQL2000 i think this is the easiest software to use on MuOnline because i tried a server once with MSSQL2000 and i have no problem with it!
I already tried sql 2000 but nothing change i don't understant where is my error. pls try to help !

I can't now but i can attach the MuCore config file. I restored 3 db, MuOnline, Ranking and MU2003_EVENT_DATA. The problem must be here.... the server start fine

Now running SQL2000 with agent, before 127.0.01 was PC-ADMIN/SQLEXPRESS (istance)
i opened it and i don't see any error with this,,,its very the same with my config.php
what OS do you use,,,try to open CMD and type this >>> ipconfig
then copy the IP Adress and replace the 127.0.0.1 with the lan adress
i'm using win 7 professional 64bit i try ODBC method and MSSQL as well
can you link me if where did you get your Mu Core files,,

I fix php.ini and php5.ini , restar service, reboot machines but... same error!

I solve this problem with xampp 1.7.7 but I think the problem is the Me_MuOnline ODBC... a create manual the odbc and i resolve the second problem but when register an account from web there is another error. titaneditor and registration from web don't save the password. Anyone can pass me the corret ODBC for Me_MuOnline? I think is the problem
why did you create a Me_MuOnline database?
Because the server create it self.... is a repack of one TT that use Me_Muonline
