i think in config file for mssql and such is kind of wrong?
try put 127.0.0.1 as connection and ur admincp panel password shouldn't contain characters like ( "!#"@%^"!@$%" ) i guess.

nope, i cant use 127.0.0.1 because that ip is applicable in local network only.

127.0.0.1 should've worked since its your local IP of your own host/vps/server whatever, anyways.. ifu use SQL 2005 or higher when u run the management studio it will ask u to connect and your name like MADDOX\SQLEXPRESS
copy that.. and put it instead 127.0.0.1 and re-try..
else enable debug mode on config and check what it is.

ive use my public ip instead because when i use 127.0.0.1\slqexpress or maddox\slqexpress it doesnt work ^^
