Edit config.php with your SQL Server information and turn on SQL Server.

    Re: MuCore Database Problem

Yes, for IGCN S6 Ep3 you need SQL Server 2008 R2, I have this files too, but I dont have any problems with installing MuCore on SQL 2008...

Oh right, I know what's the problem

So, open config.php (from MuCore folder), find $core['db_host'], and edit IP to this -> YOUR_PC_NAME\YOUR_INCTANCE_NAME

    For example: ENIGMA-MU\SQLExpress

(SQLExpress is default Instance name, but I dont know what is name of yours)

    Re: MuCore Database Problem

No karli, IGCN Premium Files S6 Ep3 works only with SQL Server 2008 R2, I already try this.

But as I write in previous post, it should solve his problem with DB connection.

You say that I am noob right? Hmm... Everyone person has own opinion. We have one "saying" here - "Podľa seba súdim teba" (meaning in english: I judge you by myself)..

Otherwise, your post is out of topic..

@MuIsBest, this is not a spam?

And here is just for you screen, that files are not cracked. (This update 7.20.26 was released today - 7.4.2012)

sorry, thats not what i meant.i just expressed my thoughts very poorly in english and my comment wasn't directed at you,it was overall observation and i just quoted awkwardly not in right place and right time.reading this topic comments i just got impression like those files are not big deal and everyone can simply get them

i am surprised that lately i see people with premium files asking such simple and newbie questions that you can tell already they are going to edit commonserver.cfg and maybe shops and their customization of server will be over.what a waste of good files

    Re: MuCore Database Problem

I use SQL R2 2008 also, and I have no problem with config.php like you guys said, I just opened port 1433 on my firewall and use MSSQL as connection method not ODBC (remote website)

    Re: MuCore Database Problem

The reason why you are getting database is problem is cus that it doesn't allow MMSQL connection, you need to do with ODBC. At config.php leave "$core['db_host'] = "";" empty, don't put anything there and
    $core['connection_type'] = "ODBC";. Good luck

You dont read what I write?

    Do this, it will work...

    And ServerInfo.bmd:
    1. IP
    2. TCP PORT
    3. SERVER VERSION (Not Serial)
