MUCore SMTP

Hi,

I'd like to know if anyone have encountered this error using MUCORE before.

Unable to proceed your request, reason: could not connect to SMTP Server, please contact administrator.

I used this guide:

What Are the Precise Outlook.com SMTP Server Settings?

And I've set it up, and enable ssl via php.ini (using xampp) but it does not work, any advice?

To add on,

I have my own IIS - SMTP Server / service set up in my Windows XP

And I've verified that I'm able to use OUTLOOK application to send email via smtp .

However I'm unsure of how to allow mucore to link to my smtp server.

Yep I was at this thread and many other threads, and even though I was using outlook, i ended up using my gmail for testing, however, gmail kept sending me a message saying that there's an unauthorize user who is trying to access.

Thus I'm guessing it's not working as well.. Thanks for the heads up though!

i have tried everything and it didnt work, then i hear its cus of the smpt server's u use..
to make it work u just need a good working SMTP server, (custom one) then it should work.

You can use any kind of smtp, if its working on smtp tester syte, it will works on your mucore too.

Was hoping that this is the case, however it simply doesn't work. hmm, may I know if by any chance you've a mucore smtp workable example?

I have made it with my SMTP for KarLi too, so its about config, not about smtp.

On my old server I used google smtp, check how to setup website smtp with google smtp, it will works, just try it :)
