MuMaker Error on creating Acct.

im getting this error after i open mu maker and trying to creat an account.

after entering acct name and all the info.
and clicking create,

it shows

"disallowed implicit conversion from data type varchar to data type carbinary, table "MuOnline.dbo.MEMB_INFO',column 'memb_pwd."use the CONVERT function to run this query."

what should i do ?

Use "Account Creator" he always work md5 on or off.

Where can I download this ?
I want to make an acct to test the server but I still need to fix this problem.
I also tried mu editor but when clicking ok on creating acct it doesn't do anything.

most probably ur database is MD5. enable MD5 on the Mumaker settings.

1 more thing, do you know what i have to do so i can be able to send the client to others so they can test it ?

compresss your client using winrar/winzip/7zip upload it to any free uploading site (make sure the main IP is set to connect to your server) and have them the link for your client.

also make sure that the PORt for ConnectServer and GameServer are open and allowed so they can get in to ur server :D

Okay I compressed the file into rar and main and servers ip is good. But I uploaded it to Megaupload but it says the file is temporary unavalable. Am I suppose to do something else or this is another website ?

okay i quess i just had to wait.

now for the main ip do i use 127.0.0.1 or my ip ?

and how to i find the game server and connectsever ports so i can open ?

for the main use your global ip so they can connect. 127.0.0.0 is ur local computer IP which means if u use that it will only connect thru the local pc(the clients). so bottomline is use Global iP :)

u can use multiupload.com as an alternative :)
then tell them to run Main so they can play the game (and ofcourse provide them ur website too xD)

okay i got my client and main on another pc.

how do i know what ports i need to open on my router so i can connect from that other pc ?

it would depend on the files im using ?

all files are mostly the same (the way they work not the codes i mean xD).

you only have to open the following:

44405 (connectserver)

[dunno wat port is used in ur gameserver. commonly its 55901]
[dunno wat port is used in ur gameservercs. commonly its 55919]

open ports only for the server host. for the clients, they dont have to.

okay for example, i have limksys router.

when i open the ports and it asks for that ip address what should i put ?

is anybody of your family knows the router credentials? if not then lets assume that the router still have the default information for login.

each router has a default login. so to know your default login, u can check for the product documentation if you still have it. if not, lets go to google and search like this:

lets say i have the router Linksys BEFW11S4, then i will searc via google like this: "Linksys BEFW11S4 default admin" [w/o quotes ofcourse] then the google will display you several pages that will match your search then click one of them and they will provide the information you needed for the default admin info for router :D

yeah im already in, i didnt mean that. i mean when opening the ports
where you enter the port numbers it also asks for an ip address. what ip
which says 192.196.1.XX what am i suppose to put for xx ?

oh my bad then xD

server: go to start(windows 7 click the windows logo) > type CMD

a new window will open and type "ipconfig" w/o quotes.

then the cmd window will show something like this (results may vary and the pic is edited for personal reason xD)



look for local area connection. then :

the red highlighted number is your ip from router so suppose its 192.168.1.80 then put that ip to port forward xD

okay i changed the ip address and opened all the ports,

but still get disconnected from server after the main loads.

i followed this guide.

and did the ip thing correctly that you told me, but still having a problem connecting to server.
