Need help im newbie

HELLO

I am a NEWBIE sir in setting up an MU private server. But i played MU already for some time now. I wanna set up a private server.

I am a new about this sir. Can someone explain to me step by step on how to set up an MU server?

anyway i Downloaded z-Team MU Release. But i don't have any idea on how to make it work. If you have any other client that would be easier please give me some information.

You better start searching for tutorials how to setup MSSQL / restore databases etc, and setup seaosn2 servers + not jump directly to season 8
then u will learn.

Not only that karli is right jumping into higher seasons will cause you more problems cause there not stable as the old ones.

So start out at low season for example my first server i made was s6 e3<<< Maybe try that?

So i have to first study how to do sever? can you gave me any client which is easy to use sir?

Its not hard mate just that you need to know how to setup the sql heres all the config locations.

Do you have all ports open through your router.Did u edit all the ip configs right? did u edit the ip in main.exe with hex edit..

*Warning*
When you go to hex edit the ip in the main.exe your ip can only be 10 characters long so if you have more then characters i recommend you use NO-IP to make it 10 characters

Main.exe you can either use Global IP Or NO-IP if you use you ipv4 address it make it local host

Thanks for this. Im now trying to learn more about SQL but i think i have problem with my LAPTOP.

i'm using windows 8.1. my first problem is when i try to open >DRIVE C>WINDOWS>SYSTEM32>DRIVERS>ETC>HOST and try to edit (as what you instructed in your tutorial. It always says "access to system32 Denied" i tried to search for solution. but i cannot find.

Can i have another question. Im already trying to search already for a couple of days. but i cannot find "Enterprise Manager" / "Console Root" or Anything that might change my data base. Does it has something to with disable feature? if its is disable? where can i find it?

Did you install sql 2000? if not theres a problem you will need to do install after downloading the files and once thats down find folder you installed them open it open run setup.bat i think and then once all thats installed u will get enterprise manager etc.....
