Need Help to Make my Static IP to WWW

Can someone fully explain me or provide me a guide how can i make my website be accessed by (ex. www.muserver.com)?

I can access it with my ip adress like 74.64.xx.xxx but i want to make it accessible with www.

Don't tell me to use no-ip of dyndns or easydns because i can't make muserver.com with those services...

I don't know a lot about how domain name works and after i read articles on google i still can't get a clear point on what's going on and how to setup my own domain name like i said muserver.com

Any help is much appreciated..

u have to buy domain

its cheap about 8-10 $ per year

for example u can buy here Domain Name Registration and Web Hosting | Domain.com

so why u want domain.com ? about free adress urname.com u can forget

use ur with ip ;]

or search for free website hosting

nobody is forcing you to Pay Big Money 10 $ per 1 year xD

its simple

You Pay = You can get everything u want
You do not pay = you do not require and searching for free hosting/files/etc

ok lets say for example tha i buy a domain name which costs about ~10usd/year (ex. muserver.com)

can someone explain me what i ll have to do next? do i have to install a DNS service on my Windows Server 2008?

can someone experienced in networks explain me what is going on with the whole dns system?
