NEWBIE HERE : PLANNING TO START MY OWN MU server (NEED:ADVICE & BASIC INFO)

i'm planning to start my own private server to be launched globally for my friends and their networks.

My questions:

1.) what do i need to purchase?
2.) what do i need to have?
3.) what do i need to do?
4.) estimate cost
5.) do i have to hire anyone to get things started?
6.) what do i need to know?

I hope people would help me and give me information, hopefully i would be pointed to the right direction.

1. server files or u can just download them :D
2. a computer that on which u'll hold server
3. create a server, web & start new community :D

5. if u can script, fix things etc by urself then probably not but if u cant then probably a team who knows how to do that :D

thanks for the reply. i need more information like what to buy, where to buy

or if free, where to download and what to download. and staff like that, im planning to get dedicated server over the net but just plans. if someone could suggest what im supposed to do to test or try it first then finalize i would really be happy.

a good PC and a good internet speed
3.) what do i need to do?
learn how to run a server file
4.) estimate cost
for a beginner FREE

a lot of things about " how to run an Mu Server file "

just open your eyes..and you will learn everything even without the help of the others..theres so many guides,instructions and free files here i think you wont get any problem with it..
