Norton Internet Suite screws up my JS and GS?

I have norton internet suite, i installed the server correctly, when i use the start up, it loads fine until the JS part, it just never shows up, and when i try to open the GS from the file, my norton detects it as a threat, is my antivirus kinda gay?

I wouldn't recommend Norton... but I am sure there is a way to make it ignore some files and folders.. if you do that you will not have a problem when executing your mu server applications. Also check that the firewall is allowing the chatserver, the gameservers and the connectserver to access the internet (gameserver is up and down connection you must allow).

Otherwise I would recommend Eset Smart Security 4.
I use it and works like heaven. On the other hand, if you are looking for superb infrastructure, you could instead get an antivirus such as malwarebyte's anti-malware, avg, or eset anti virus (EAV), and then get a stand-alone firewall such as Kerio Winroute firewall. It is very strong. But do not use it if your OS is windows server 2008... doesn't work very well on that os at the moment unfortunately.

This is what i get, I'm using Vista Ultimate 64 bits, i uninstalled norton, im using AVG now. I don't have a router, im using a comcast modem(cisco) do i have to get a router?

You don't need router its easier if you are non-router... you can just use a firewall to control what ports to allow and what ports to block. If you don't want to download/install/buy a firewall just use windows firewall.
