php4 and MSSQL 2008

It is posible to remote connect from web based on php4 to mssql 2008? my web cant run on php5.

if your webhost support mssql connection then it will work by changing the ip on mssql_connect with the ip from mssql server.
Also you need to open or add exception for mssql in firewall.

PS: google is your friend if you can't setup in the right way mssql remotely

i alredy try google it befor i create this topick. I can remote connect to mssql 2008 with php5 webserver with enabled mssql extension but i cant remote connect to mssql 2008 on php4 webserver vith enabled mssql extension. firewall or anything what can disabled connect is turned off. Try to carefully read my 1st post. thx.
