    Re: Public server startup problem

I tried everything and still nothing, in my opinion, I have detected, the IP addresses will change it but at how I still DSC. I just spoke with the ISP and the network administrator and there is no problem in the settings! show where the problem might be please

Someone please take a look at those files and help me set up. My public IP is 85.71.79.88, or at least make sure I have everything set up correctly. Thank you very much

    Re: Public server startup problem

    try this

edit HOST (located at C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc), open it with notepad

put your Server LAN IP and GLOBAL IP

    example:

LAN IP of the server : 192.168.0.11
    Global IP : 123.23.123.123

    Code:
    # Copyright (c) 1993-1999 Microsoft Corp.
    #
    # This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
    #
    # This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
    # entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
    # be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
    # The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
    # space.
    #
    # Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
    # lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
    #
    # For example:
    #
    # 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
    # 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host

    127.0.0.1 localhost
    192.168.0.11 123.23.123.123

    Re: Public server startup problem

all windows have a host file...

    C:\Windows\system32\driver\etc\
    host

Have you tried accessing the server from a PC outside your LAN? If you can't access it, it's because you didn't open up your ports correctly in the router. If you say you can connect using hamachi (meaning that the serverfiles actually do work), then that's got to be the problem. Ignore the host thing, go to your router and open the ports. And yes, you are indeed using a router, your local IP is 192.168.xxx.xxx.

Well I have the router but from the router's wireless signal goes to the modem and the modem cable to my PC. But the main router ports are enabled (provider confirmed to me that there is no port is prohibited and that all ports are allowed) looks like the file that I had hidden.

    # localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself.
    # 127.0.0.1 localhost
    # ::1 localhost

    Re: Public server startup problem

What the provider set and what YOUR WIRELESS ROUTER FILTERS are two different things, I'm not sure you really understand that. Your provider might not block the ports, it's the router that does, and your provider will not be able to tell if you do in fact have the router's ports open.

Forget about the host file, do what I say. Try to login from outside your local area network, tell a friend to try and login into the server. If he can't, your router ports are blocked. Learn some English too, it could help.

    Re: Public server startup problem

Sorry for my English. I go through one main router which wirelessly transmits everything to the modem cable from which it goes to my PC and has a certain manager and he will be set not by me personally! I asked him and he told me that the router is set to "free ports". And therefore do not forward ports, I do not know what's the truth.

    I do not understand!
I understood it correctly so I have to call Mikrotik administrators to allow these ports even though there is no port is forbidden? and it will not be the same as now? Please a little more information! Thank you, I know I'm annoying and my English is not too great but I ran server publicly.
