    Recommended windows

    Hello guys what windows do you think it`s better performance/resources from this list:

    Windows Server 2003 - Web Edition
    Windows Server 2003 - Standard Edition
    Windows Server 2003 -Enterprise Edition
    Windows Server 2008 - Web Edition
    Windows Server 2008 - Standard Edition
    Windows Server 2008 - Enterprise Edition

    Windows Server 2008 Standard if you have a good hardware configuration.
    Windows Server 2003 Standard, RAM less than 1 GB

    Server 2003, not web edition i heard that mu wont work on it.

    a well configured win2k8 eat ~100mb ram so you don't need to choose like this.
    A mu server will run perfectly in win2k3 server but if your server use a pppoe connection to reach the internet than the best solution will be probably win2k8.

    If money is not a problem for you get Entreprise.
    But I use Standard SP1 and works grrreaat!

    Notice that some old MU applications will not work on windows server 2008 even if you run them in compactibility mode.... so be very careful!!!!
